My favorite expansive views in all of Canada are at Sunshine Meadows.
My favorite sunset spot in Canmore, Alberta. A few clouds rolled by and allowed for magnificent reflections of the Three Sisters.
The Three Sisters resting behind some trees at Silvertip’s #18.
I stood on the rocks at Lake Louise and ducked down to include them as my foreground. Glacier fed lakes in Western Canada have incredible emerald colors.
I walked on a few rocks and got my feet wet so I could include this downed tree in my photo. The Tea House is a great place to stop along the hike to the Plain of the Six Glaciers.
Along the Bee Hive trail, I found a nice line where the landscape cut across a mountain range & trees.
During my afternoon hike around the town of Canmore (Alberta, CA) I encountered lots of beautiful water & mountain scenes. At one point I came to some rocks which made for an excellent foreground object. With all of the glacier fed lakes and rivers, it’s hard to take a bad photograph in Western Canada.
