The sun's first light struggled to break through a thick veil of clouds and fog. With multiple layers of clouds diffusing the light, I saw an opportunity for a striking silhouette shot. Instead of my usual wide-angle lens, I opted for a telephoto lens to draw the palm trees into the frame from the distant landscape.
