Florida Summers bring lots of much needed rain to replenish our groundwater, slow wildfires, and water our food/plants. These Summer storms also bring along lightning, making Florida the lightning capital of the United States. I love spending time to watch the summer storms roll in over the Gulf, 6-10 miles out when I can to capture some of the incredible lightning bolts. The feeling of sitting on the beach and watching one of natures greatest light shows is almost second to none.
