During April’s “Feeding Frenzy” at Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary in 2018, Roseate Spoonbills were pinching 1-4 year old alligators tails. Pinching the tail would cause the young alligators to scurry through the mud, kicking up food for the spoonbills to follow behind them and sweep up an easy bite. This one instance, a very young alligator wasn’t having it and whipped around to let the spoonbill know that was enough.

This was the moment that I truly fell in love with photography. After seeing the spoonbills in action during the “feeding Frenzy” in April of 2018, i was hooked.
